About Us

M&Z Renovations, LLC

M&Z began helping friends and family with renovation projects and creating custom pieces long before they officially started their business.  Their love of art, architecture, and creating beautiful things lead them to dive into renovations as first-time home buyers.  Buying and furnishing a home can be trying.  Our experience on both ends of the renovation experience has enhanced our dedication to great customer service. We want our customers to have the best possible experience, no matter how small or large the project may be.

Margaux & Zack Bogardus

Margaux & Zack’s love story began in college. They moved to New Orleans in 2009, and are now raising their own little locals (Vaughn and Lennon) . After serving the community as educators, they decided to follow their dream to become entrepreneurs and help homeowners create their piece of home in the city they love. M&Z are passionate about responsible entrepreneurship, sustainable building practices, and happy clients.

Zack started apprenticing with his Dad, Jim, when he was young. As a student, he spent summers working on construction crews and specializing as the family handyman.  After moving to New Orleans in 2009, Zack began creating custom pieces out of reclaimed wood, partnering with the Preservation Resource Center to perfect his ability to restore historic homes, and pouring his love of geometry and art into his talent for construction.

By nature, they are both problem solvers and perfectionists: Margaux & Zack love a challenge, and work hard to ensure things are done right and well.
